Magnat Interior IC 82 IN-CEILING SPEAKER WITH 8" WOOFER, White, Single

Magnat Interior IC 82 In-Ceiling Speaker with 8" Woofer, White, Single

HIGH-FIDELITY IN-CEILING SPEAKER FOR POWERFUL SOUND

SOUND WITHOUT VISIBLE SPEAKERS

The IC 82 delivers full high-fidelity performance from inside the ceiling, leaving the room itself untouched. It suits living rooms, kitchens and home offices as well as commercial spaces such as offices, retail, restaurants and hotels. Where a conventional speaker would not fit, this one simply disappears.

TWIN TWEETER DESIGN

Two 20 mm aluminium dome tweeters powered by high-performance neodymium magnets handle the high frequencies. The arrangement delivers outstanding resolution and unusually wide dispersion for a ceiling speaker. Detail stays consistent across the whole listening area rather than directly below the driver.

CARBON FIBRE CONE WOOFER

Midrange and bass are handled by a robust driver with a lightweight, rigid carbon fibre cone. The combination delivers clean, detailed mids and powerful, controlled bass from a flush-mounted enclosure. Speech and music both keep their weight and definition.

MULTI-DIRECTIVITY CIRCUIT

A special tweeter alignment works together with an integrated Multi-Directivity circuit to adapt the speaker acoustically to different rooms. Reflective kitchens and heavily furnished living rooms can be balanced individually. You hear precise, consistent sound wherever the speaker is installed.

APOC CROSSOVER

The Amplitude and Phase Optimized Crossover aligns the drivers in both amplitude and phase. Frequency transitions are seamless and the sound staging stays accurate even off axis. This is the part of a ceiling speaker most manufacturers economise on.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

GOLD-PLATED SPEAKER TERMINAL

A massive, gold-plated terminal guarantees a secure, low-loss connection to the amplifier. In an installation that will stay in the ceiling for years, contact quality matters more than anywhere else. The connection is made once and stays reliable.

EASY-FIT INSTALLATION SYSTEM

Magnat's proven Easy-Fit system with a rugged clamping mechanism simplifies installation in drywall, plaster or ceiling tiles. A single cutout and a few turns of a screwdriver are all it takes. The speaker installs in minutes and stays firmly in place.

STEREO, MULTIROOM OR SURROUND

The IC 82 suits a stereo pair in one room, a multiroom installation across the house, or the surround channels of a home cinema. The same model covers all three applications without compromise. One product simplifies the whole specification.

DISCREET FLUSH DESIGN

A slim white grille sits almost flush with the ceiling and can be painted to match the surface. Once installed, most people will not notice the speaker is there until it plays. Interior design and sound quality stop competing with each other.

DEVELOPED IN GERMANY

Magnat products are developed in Germany with a commitment to precision, quality and innovation. Installation speakers receive the same measurement discipline as the hi-fi ranges. High-quality construction keeps performance pristine for years.
