The ATM 202 is a two-way Dolby Atmos speaker designed to sit on top of your existing front or surround speakers. It fires upward so the ceiling reflects sound back down to the listening position. Rain, aircraft and ambience are placed above you rather than merely around you.

NO CEILING WORK REQUIRED

Because the ATM 202 works by reflection, there is no drilling, no cabling in the ceiling and no conflict with a rented flat. Setup takes minutes and can be reversed just as quickly. Immersive audio becomes an afternoon upgrade rather than a renovation project.

TWO-WAY DESIGN

A dedicated woofer and tweeter share the work instead of asking one driver to cover everything. That keeps height effects clear and properly localised rather than vague. Objects moving overhead stay sharply defined as they travel.

MATCHED TO THE SIGNATURE SERIES

The ATM 202 is voiced to combine with the Signature 999, 809, 607, 603 and Edelstein models and the Center Pro II. Shared engineering keeps the tonal character identical as a sound moves from the floor layer to the height layer. The system sounds like one instrument, not several.

COMPACT CABINET

The cabinet is dimensioned to sit neatly on top of a floorstander or a bookshelf speaker without looking like an afterthought. A rigid enclosure keeps panel resonance out of the reflected sound. It adds a dimension to the system without adding clutter to the room.

A pair of ATM 202 speakers turns a 5.1 layout into 5.1.2, and two pairs take it to 5.1.4. Add the Omega CS 12 subwoofer and the installation is complete from the lowest octave to the ceiling. Everything expands in stages without any component becoming obsolete.

WORKS WITH EVERY ATMOS RECEIVER

Any Dolby Atmos capable AV receiver can drive the ATM 202 as a height channel pair. The speakers are passive, so no power outlet or extra wiring is needed at the listening position. Set the channel type in the receiver menu and you are finished.

KLIPPEL OPTIMISED FOR PRECISION

Components in the Signature range are optimised using Klippel laser measurement technology to minimise distortion. Driver behaviour is analysed under real working conditions rather than assumed. The payoff is faithful reproduction and reliable performance over many years.

SIGNATURE DESIGN LANGUAGE

A satin matte front and scratch-resistant tone-on-tone cabinet match the rest of the Signature range exactly. Available in black and white, the pair blends into the system visually as well as acoustically. Nothing about them looks like an accessory.

Every Signature model is developed in Magnat's German laboratories with decades of acoustic know-how behind it. Dispersion behaviour for a reflected height channel has to be measured, not guessed. That work is the reason the effect actually convinces.
