COMPACT SIZE, SERIOUS LOW END

BASS FOR SMALLER ROOMS

The Alpha RS 8 is the compact member of the Alpha RS family, built for apartments, studies and smaller living rooms. A 200 mm long-throw woofer and an efficient Class-D amplifier deliver far more weight than the cabinet size suggests. It is the easiest upgrade a compact speaker system can get.

EFFICIENT CLASS-D AMPLIFIER

The integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 80 watts of continuous power with peaks up to 160 watts. High efficiency keeps the electronics cool and the driver tightly controlled. Output reaches down to around 25 Hz, well below where most compact speakers give up.

BASS REFLEX CABINET

The low-resonance MDF cabinet is tuned as a bass reflex enclosure to extend output well below the driver's natural limit. Careful port design keeps air noise out of the sound at realistic levels. Bass stays fast and defined rather than heavy and slow.

FULL CONTROL OVER THE SETUP

Volume, crossover frequency and phase are adjustable directly on the amplifier panel, with the crossover variable between roughly 50 and 150 Hz. Matching the subwoofer to your main speakers takes minutes. The RS 8 disappears into the system instead of announcing itself.

LOW-RESONANCE MDF CABINET

A robust, low-resonance MDF cabinet is designed for both performance and versatility. Large feet with resonance-absorbing rubber inserts decouple the unit from the floor, reducing vibration and improving clarity. A removable front grille offers flexibility in appearance and protection for the driver.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

FRONT-FIRING CONFIGURATION

Driver and port both fire towards the front of the cabinet, which makes placement near a wall or inside furniture far less critical. You keep the output and lose the placement headaches. In a small room that flexibility matters more than anything else.

WORKS WITH ANY BRAND

Variable crossover, level and phase mean the RS 8 integrates with speakers from any manufacturer. There is no proprietary link and no matching requirement. Whatever system you already own, this subwoofer will slot into it.

HI-FI AND HOME CINEMA

In a stereo system the RS 8 relieves compact speakers of the deepest notes so they play cleaner and louder. In a home cinema it supplies the LFE channel that makes films feel physical. One small box changes both roles at once.

SMALL FOOTPRINT DISCREET LOOK

The compact cabinet slots beside a rack, under a desk or into a corner without dominating the room. A clean black finish and removable grille keep it visually quiet. Serious bass no longer demands serious floor space.
