THE EASY WAY TO ADD REAL BASS

POWERFUL BASS FOR ANY SYSTEM

The Alpha RS 12 is an ideal addition to any home cinema or hi-fi system, whatever brand your speakers are. A 300 mm high-power long-throw woofer sits in a bass reflex cabinet built to move serious air. Films gain physical impact and music finally gets its lowest octave back.

CLASS-D AMPLIFIER 120 / 240 WATTS

The integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 120 watts of continuous power with peaks up to 240 watts. High efficiency keeps the electronics cool and the driver firmly under control. The technology in the RS 12 lets it reproduce frequencies all the way down to 20 Hz.

TWO AIRFLEX PORTS

Two generously dimensioned Airflex ports with low flow resistance load the cabinet in a front-firing configuration. Air moves freely, so port noise stays out of the sound even at high levels. Deep bass arrives clean rather than accompanied by chuffing.

FULL CONTROL OVER THE SETUP

Volume, crossover frequency and phase can all be adjusted directly on the amplifier panel. That makes it straightforward to match the subwoofer to your speakers and your room acoustics. Active frequency response equalisation up to 150 Hz helps it blend naturally into AV systems.

LOW-RESONANCE MDF CABINET

A stable, low-resonance MDF housing keeps cabinet vibration out of the output. Large feet with resonance-absorbing rubber inserts decouple the unit from the floor. The removable fabric grille lets you show or hide the substantial bass chassis.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

FRONT-FIRING CONFIGURATION

Both the bass driver and the reflex tubes fire towards the front of the cabinet. That makes placement against a wall or inside furniture far less critical than with downward or rear-firing designs. You keep the output and lose the placement headaches.

WORKS WITH ANY BRAND

Thanks to its variable parameters the RS 12 can be connected to speakers from any manufacturer and still integrate cleanly. There is no proprietary link or matching requirement. Whatever system you already own, this subwoofer will fit into it.

AUTOMATIC STANDBY

An automatic standby function drops consumption below 0.5 watts when no signal is present and can be switched off if you prefer. The subwoofer wakes the moment music or a film starts. Convenience and efficiency without any compromise in readiness.

COMPACT FOOTPRINT

At roughly 360 mm wide and 465 mm tall, the RS 12 delivers twelve inch output from a manageable cabinet. It fits beside a rack, under a console or in the corner of a normal living room. Big bass no longer requires a dedicated cinema room.
