Magnat Signature Omega CS 12, 12-Inch Subwoofer, Satin white, Single

DEEP AND PUNCHY BASS

THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR SYSTEM

The Omega CS 12 is a powerful active subwoofer engineered as part of the Signature series to deliver deep, precise bass. It relieves your main speakers of the lowest octaves and inspires them to perform beyond what they manage alone. Whether the system is a pair of bookshelf monitors or a full home cinema, the difference is immediate.

525 WATTS RMS 1100 WATTS PEAK

The integrated Class-D power amplifier delivers 525 watts in continuous operation and up to 1100 watts at peak. High efficiency means that power arrives as controlled motion rather than heat. Even the most demanding soundscapes in music and film are handled without strain.

30 CM DUAL CONE CONSTRUCTION

A specially hardened and coated material is used in a dual cone configuration measuring 30 cm in diameter. The drive comes from a 70 mm high-performance voice coil and a 170 mm ferrite magnet, with a bonded and stitched long-throw surround. Klippel laser optimisation ties the whole motor together.

DOWN TO 18 HERTZ

The driver and cabinet are tuned to reproduce frequencies from 18 Hz up to 200 Hz. That covers the entire LFE range including the infrasonic effects most subwoofers simply roll away. Low notes are felt as well as heard, which is exactly the point.

HIGH-SPEED DSP CONTROL

A high-speed DSP linearises the frequency response and keeps the driver under control at every level. Crossover frequency, phase and an adjustable bass extension at 35 Hz can all be set continuously. The subwoofer adapts to your room instead of forcing your room to adapt to it.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

COMPACT SEALED CABINET

The developers built an ultra-solid MDF housing hardly any larger than the 12 inch chassis itself. The enclosed construction radiates towards the front of the unit, which minimises room interference. Serious output no longer requires a piece of furniture in the corner.

PART OF THE SIGNATURE SERIES

The Omega CS 12 is designed to complete Signature systems built around the 999, 809, 607, 603 and Edelstein models. Together with the Center Pro II and ATM 202 Atmos surrounds it forms a fully customisable installation. Nothing needs to be re-voiced as the system grows.

HI-FI AND HOME CINEMA

Whether you are building a high-fidelity stereo setup or a home theatre, the Omega CS 12 changes the scale of what you hear. In films it adds physical impact; in music it restores the bottom octave that most speakers lose. One or two units can be used depending on the room.

DISCREET AND ELEGANT

The understated satin finish lets the CS 12 sit either in a prominent position or quietly in the background. Clean surfaces and a compact footprint keep it visually calm in a living room. It looks like a piece of equipment, not a piece of luggage.
