PROFESSIONAL-GRADE AUDIO IN A HOME THEATER FORMAT

THX ULTRA2 CERTIFIED

The LCR 100-THX was the first LCR loudspeaker to receive THX Ultra2 certification. It is approved for use in every main speaker position. THX Ultra2 sets demanding limits for output, dispersion and distortion in large rooms. Passing it means the speaker performs to cinema reference standards, not just marketing ones.

VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL PLACEMENT

One speaker covers the left, centre and right positions and can be laid on its side or stood upright without losing its dispersion characteristics. That means an identical front stage rather than a centre channel that sounds different from its neighbours. Installation adapts to your room instead of the other way round.

DUAL 17 CM MIDRANGE-WOOFERS

Two 17 cm midrange-woofers with rigid ceramic-aluminium diaphragms deliver precise, distortion-free mids and lows. A flow-optimised die-cast aluminium chassis removes compression and resonance from the equation. Eight-point mounting holds each driver in a vibration-free, acoustically solid position.

LARGE TWEETER WITH WAVEGUIDE

A large 42 mm tweeter cone works with a horn waveguide and a sound distribution lens for controlled, wide dispersion. The combination delivers high efficiency and ultra-precise highs built to THX Ultra2 standards. Every seat in the room hears the same tonal balance.

CLEAN OUTPUT BEYOND 110 dB

The LCR 100-THX produces distortion-free sound levels up to and beyond 110 decibels. Cinema soundtracks can be played at reference level without hardening or compressing. Peaks stay clean where lesser speakers start to strain.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

LOW-DISTORTION MAGNET SYSTEM

A high-power magnet system with inductivity control rings keeps distortion low and linearity high across the working range. Ventilated voice coils provide excellent thermal stability during long, loud sessions. The speaker holds its composure exactly when a film demands the most from it.

BUILD A FULL THX ULTRA2 SYSTEM

Build a complete THX Ultra2 5.1 system with three LCR 100-THX front speakers, two RD 200-THX surrounds and one SUB 300-THX subwoofer. The layout expands easily to 5.2 or 7.2 with additional components. Every part is voiced to work as one installation.

READY FOR DOLBY ATMOS

Add AEH 400-ATM add-on speakers and the Cinema Ultra system extends into full three-dimensional Dolby Atmos configurations up to 7.2.4. The height layer integrates without replacing anything you already own. Your investment grows with the formats rather than being replaced by them.

ALSO WORKS OUTSIDE THE THX WORLD

All Cinema Ultra models can be used with non-THX-licensed electronics and outside a full Cinema Ultra set. You are not locked into one brand of receiver or one system configuration. The speaker performs on its merits in any high-quality installation.

DEVELOPED IN GERMANY

Cinema Ultra was developed at Magnat in Pulheim to satisfy the toughest certification in home cinema. Every driver, waveguide and filter was measured and revised until the THX engineers themselves were convinced. That is German engineering applied to the Hollywood sound.
