Magnat Monitor S80 ATM Floorstanding Speaker with Dolby Atmos, Walnut, Single

HEIGHT SPEAKERS AT THE TOP FOR A MORE IMMERSIVE SOUND

STEREO PERFORMANCE
PLUS DOLBY ATMOS

The Monitor S80 ATM merges audiophile-grade stereo performance with an integrated Dolby Atmos height channel. One cabinet handles both the front channel and the overhead effects, so no extra speakers or ceiling work are needed. Music and films share the same set of towers without compromise.

UPWARD-FIRING
HEIGHT DRIVER

A dedicated Dolby Atmos driver on top of the cabinet directs sound towards the ceiling. The reflected sound then reaches the listening position from above. Rain, aircraft and ambience are placed above you instead of around you. The effect turns a flat soundstage into a genuine three-dimensional bubble.

DOUBLE BASS
CONFIGURATION

Two bass drivers work together to move the air a large room needs, with a bass reflex cabinet extending the low end further. Low frequencies stay deep and physical while remaining controlled and rhythmic. Action films gain real weight and music keeps its foundation.

RING RADIATOR
TWEETER DOME

The Monitor S ring radiator tweeter has a larger effective membrane surface than a conventional dome. It generates more sound energy exactly around the crossover point between midrange and treble, where it matters most. Transitions are smoother and the soundstage opens up noticeably.

FE-DYNAMICS
DRIVER TECHNOLOGY

FE-Dynamics is Magnat's proprietary driver technology combining an optimised ferrite magnet system with non-magnetic, well-ventilated baskets. Voice coil cooling keeps the drivers thermally stable during long, loud sessions. Dynamics stay consistent from the first scene to the closing credits.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

NO CEILING
SPEAKERS REQUIRED

Because the height channel is built into the tower, there is no drilling, no cabling in the ceiling and no compromise with rented rooms. Setup is as simple as positioning a normal pair of floorstanders. Immersive audio becomes available to almost any living room.

READY FOR
MUSIC AND CINEMA

In stereo the S80 ATM behaves like a classic full-range floorstander with scale and precise imaging. Switch to a film and the height channel activates automatically with a Dolby Atmos capable AV receiver. One system covers both roles without a change of character.

BUILD A COMPLETE
MONITOR S SYSTEM

The S80 ATM combines directly with the Monitor S14 C or S12 C centre speakers and the S10 D dipole surrounds. Shared driver technology keeps the tonal balance identical across every channel. You can start in stereo and expand to a full immersive layout step by step.

SOLID CABINET
CLEAN LINES

A rigid bass reflex cabinet keeps panel resonance out of the sound and gives the tower its composed character. The understated finish and removable fabric grille let it sit discreetly in a living room. Build quality and appearance both belong a class above the price.

GERMAN ENGINEERING
AT ITS CORE

The entire Monitor S series is developed by Magnat in Germany with decades of loudspeaker know-how behind it. Every driver, filter and cabinet dimension is chosen to serve the music rather than a spec sheet. You hear affordable high performance you can live with for years.
