EFFECTS THAT SURROUND YOU, NOT POINT AT YOU

DIPOLE DESIGN FOR TRUE SURROUND

The Monitor S10 D is a two-way dipole speaker built specifically for the surround channels of a home cinema. Instead of firing straight at the listener, it radiates into the room to create a diffuse, enveloping field. Effects seem to come from everywhere rather than from a box on the wall.

WIDE DISPERSION

Multiple dome tweeters spread high frequency effects across a broad listening area. Everyone on the sofa experiences the same surround envelope, not just the person in the middle seat. Ambience and movement stay convincing wherever you sit.

BUILT FOR WALL MOUNTING

The cabinet is shaped and equipped to sit flat against a side or rear wall. Installation is straightforward and the speaker stays visually discreet once in place. Surround channels stop being an obstacle in the room.

FE-DYNAMICS DRIVER TECHNOLOGY

FE-Dynamics combines an optimised ferrite magnet system with non-magnetic, well-ventilated baskets and voice coil cooling. Thermal stability keeps the drivers precise through long films with demanding soundtracks. Effects stay sharp from the first scene to the last.

MATCHED TO THE MONITOR S SERIES

The S10 D is voiced to match the S80 ATM and S70 floorstanders and the S14 C and S12 C centre speakers. Shared driver technology keeps timbre identical as a sound travels from front to rear. Pans move smoothly instead of changing character halfway across the room.

PREMIUM GERMAN AUDIO

DOLBY ATMOS AND DTS:X READY

As surround or surround back channels the S10 D works with every modern immersive format. Object-based soundtracks rely on accurate placement and smooth movement, which is exactly what a dipole delivers. Your AV receiver finally gets speakers that match its ambitions.

SOLID CABINET LOW PROFILE

A rigid, shallow enclosure keeps panel resonance under control while staying close to the wall. The understated finish and removable grille let the speaker disappear into the room. Nothing about it competes with the picture on screen.

EASY TO DRIVE

A friendly impedance and good sensitivity mean the S10 D works well with the surround channels of any mainstream AV receiver. No additional amplification is needed to reach convincing levels. Every watt is used efficiently.

GROW YOUR SYSTEM IN STAGES

Start with a stereo pair and a centre, then add the S10 D when you are ready for full surround. Because the whole Monitor S range shares one tonal signature, nothing needs to be re-voiced. The system expands without ever sounding mismatched.

AFFORDABLE HIGH PERFORMANCE

The Monitor S series brings genuine Magnat engineering within reach of every film lover. Development takes place in Germany with the same discipline applied to the premium ranges. Surround channels of this quality are rarely found at this price.
