The MC 400 is a compact high-end stereo NETWORK, CD, DAB and FM receiver designed in Germany. From vinyl and CD to internet radio, DAB+, Bluetooth streaming and Hi-Res Audio over the network, it covers everything in one classic hi-fi chassis. The only question left is what you want to listen to.

200 WATTS OF MAXIMUM POWER

Bipolar configured power transistors deliver up to 100 watts of peak power per channel, 200 watts in total. That is enough headroom to drive medium-sized floorstanding speakers with authority. Dynamics stay open and controlled even when the music demands everything at once.

HI-RES AUDIO CERTIFIED ELECTRONICS

Carefully selected, Hi-Res Audio certified components process every signal with high accuracy. Digital inputs accept sampling rates up to 192 kHz / 24 bit through optical and coaxial connections. High resolution files are reproduced with the detail and tonal accuracy they were mastered with.

NETWORK STREAMING OVER WI-FI AND ETHERNET

Ethernet and Wi-Fi open the door to Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, internet radio and Hi-Res files stored on your home network. Additional services and multiroom playback are managed through the Magnat app for iOS and Android. Your whole library becomes available from the sofa.

SLOT-IN CD PLAYER

A discreetly integrated slot-in drive of the type used in professional DJ equipment plays CD audio, MP3 and WMA discs. Repeat, random play and programming of up to 99 tracks are all supported. CD text and ID3 tags make navigating your discs effortless.

DAB+ AND FM TUNER WITH RDS

A high-quality digital DAB and DAB+ tuner sits alongside a classic FM receiver with RDS. Forty programmable presets per band and automatic station scanning make setup quick and listening effortless. Station names and programme information appear directly on the colour display.

MM PHONO INPUT FOR YOUR TURNTABLE

A dedicated Moving Magnet phono input with ground terminal lets you connect a record player directly. No separate phono stage is needed to bring vinyl into the system. Analogue and digital sources sit side by side, ready at the press of a button.

TV SOUND UPGRADE

An HDMI input with ARC support connects the MC 400 straight to a modern television. Films, series and games gain the body and clarity that built-in TV speakers simply cannot provide. One receiver serves both the hi-fi rack and the living room screen.

Bluetooth 5.0 with the Qualcomm aptX HD standard streams from smartphones, tablets and laptops at high quality with low latency. Range and connection stability are excellent, so playback stays smooth across the room. Wireless listening does not have to mean lower sound quality.
